Nashville compost welcomes you!
Compost is used in a variety of ways in the landscape. Tennessee soils have clay and limestone which at times can be poor nutrient wise and enzyme wise. When building garden beds or landscape beds consider using a good compost product blended in to the soil. This will provide better water retention and enzymes which help roots to perform properly. When the soil has a lack of enzymes roots have difficulty taking up nutrients. So even if the proper nutrients were there the plant cannot use them. Give your plants a great start by blending some quality compost into the dirt.
